LA GRANDE – The Union County Warming Station on 3rd Street in La Grande opened its doors Sunday night for the season with 6-guests. According to the staff, the warming station can accommodate 20-guests at one time. In the past, the most has been 8-guests at one time. Volunteers are still needed and training is still being conducted. As the warming station is working with Public Health to keep the staff and guests safe, all guests will be screened, wear a mask, and abide by the social distancing rules.
