Warming Station closing for the season

LA GRANDE – The Warming Station in La Grande will be closing for the season, March 15th. Acting Chair Taylor Gould said the guest have been considerate when it came to keeping them safe during the COVID pandemic. The Warming Station handed out personal protective equipment (PPE), like face masks and hand sanitizer. The Warming Station will be accepting guests the night of March 15th, then closing until next season around mid-November. All of the staff that had volunteered this year said they were grateful of the new location on 3rdStreet and found working with the less fortunate was rewarding.
