Wanted out of Lake County

Lakeview (Released by Lake County Sheriff’s Office)-On Friday, March 24, 2023 Lake County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Oregon State Police Troopers responded to the area of Westside Road and Water User Road on a report of a domestic assault in which a male identified to be David Olivas struck a female with a hammer. Olivas fled the scene on foot prior to Deputies arrival. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by a K9 team from the Modoc County Sheriff’s Office. Despite and in-depth search of the area, Olivas was not located. It is unknown if he is still in the area of Westside.

He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’5″ tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey sweat shirt. The Sheriff’s Offices asks citizens to be on the lookout for Olivas and if you see him call 911. Olivas has a history of assault with weapons and should not be approached. As always, we urge residents to keep vehicles and homes locked and do not leave firearms unattended in vehicles
