WALLA WALLA – Officers with the Walla Walla Police Department arrested Byron J. Graham, 22, Tuesday night following a bicycle pursuit. His arrest comes after numerous attempts to take Graham into custody. Officers had been watching a vehicle that Graham had been driving and finally returned to.
Once Graham made it back to the vehicle, an officer moved in, but Graham jumped on a bicycle to get away from the officer. Graham cut through parking lots, across grass and between trees with the officer following behind him. Graham was eventually taken into custody in the parking lot of the Home Depot in College Place.
Graham was booked into the Walla Walla County Jail on a warrant for failing to register as a felony sex offender, resisting arrest and eluding law enforcement.
