BAKER CITY – (Release from the U.S. Forest Service) The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest is pleased to announce an open house for the Clarks Vegetation Management Project. The event will be held at the Halfway Lions Club, 235 Lion St. Halfway OR, 97834, on Aug. 10, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The intent of this open house is to start the public scoping phase of the project. We want to engage the Pine Valley community in-person due to the proximity of the project area.
