NORTHEAST OREGON – (Release from the U.S. Forest Service) The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest is pleased to announce three Open Houses later this month and early next. The intent of these Open Houses is to discuss current ongoings of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest and local projects with the Forest Supervisor, Shaun McKinney, Deputy Forest Supervisor, Traci Zimmerlee, and the local District Ranger. The overall goal of the open houses is for Forest Service leadership to give updates on ongoing projects, programs and emphasis areas, to answer questions and engage in conversation with attendees. During the events, information will be shared, updates provided, and time for questions or comments.
