IMNAHA, OR – (Information from the U.S. Forest Service) Hat Point Road in the Wallowa Whitman National Forest is now open to the public as of October 10. The U.S. Forest service would like to remind visitors that the road is within an active fire area with portions of uncontained fire perimeter and to always stay on designated routes. Further, the area is still being patrolled by fire crews. Smoke is not to be reported.
