BAKER CITY – (Release from the U.S. Forest Service) The 2024 fuelwood cutting season on the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest ends Saturday, November 30.
Next year’s fuelwood cutting season will begin May 1, 2025, and go to November 30, 2025. Wallowa-Whitman National Forest is committed to public safety and prioritizes the well-being of Forest visitors. Please follow seasonal restrictions beginning December 1.
