Wallowa Memorial Hospital Welcomes Dr. Nasson, expanding orthopedic expertise

ENTERPRISE – (Release from Wallowa Memorial Hospital and Clinics) Wallowa Memorial Hospital and Medical Clinics are proud to announce the addition of Dr. Scott Nasson, a highly skilled and compassionate sports medicine orthopedic surgeon, to its distinguished medical staff. Dr. Nasson’s arrival significantly enhances the organizations commitment to providing comprehensive care for the people of Wallowa County.
Dr. Nasson specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries related to sports and physical activity. His expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to:
- Arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee
- Ligament and tendon repairs and reconstructions (e.g., ACL, rotator cuff)
- Fracture care
- Cartilage restoration procedures
- Overuse injuries

Dr. Nasson earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He further honed his specialized skills through a prestigious fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Chicago, where he gained extensive experience. From there he has went on to preform thousands of surgeries at Kaiser Permanente over the last seventeen years. Dr. Nasson has also served as a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine for nearly twenty years.
