Wallowa County Soroptimists announce their 2026 continuing education undergraduate scholarship awards

WALLOWA COUNTY – Soroptimist International of Wallowa County (SIWC) has announced two recipients of their Continuing Education Undergraduate Scholarship awards.

Below is a press release issued by SIWC on those recipients.

“Soroptimists International of Wallowa County are pleased to announce the two recipients of the Continuing Education Undergraduate Awards for 2026, Sophie Moeller and Molly Curry. The recipients will each receive $5000. Sophie will be a senior at Lewis-Clark State College, majoring in radiographic science. Molly will be a senior at the University of Washington, majoring in physics and astronomy.

The Continuing Education Undergraduate Scholarship Awards intend to recognize and encourage the continuing education pursuits of outstanding young women of Wallowa County who are committed to achieving a college, vocational, or technical education and who demonstrate the potential to be successful in their future career paths. Two $5000 scholarships are awarded annually.”
