ENTERPRISE, OR – Earlier this month, the Wallowa County Board of Commissioners approved a process to obtain a grant of $500,000. The grant will help with projects at the fairgrounds including ADA-approved restrooms. The projects are scheduled to begin in the spring of next year and should be completed in the fall of 2024. The budget that has been set aside for the projects is $742.000 with donations to help offset the total cost. Todd Nash, Wallowa County Commissioner mentioned, Wallowa Memorial Hospital is donating a generator during power outages at Cloverleaf Hall and an update of the cooling system.
