ENTERPRISE, OR – (Information Provided by Wallowa County Chamber) The Wallowa County Chamber is excited to share with the launch of “Wallowa County – Connections” – a project in partnership with Cycle Oregon, Nez Perce Wallowa Homeland, Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center, and the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce.
This project was developed to highlight the diversity of Wallowa County through inclusive history and experiences as shared by the local community. Through Connections, a range of rural voices are introduced and elevated, as the lesser known (and often lesser told) histories and heritages are shared. A wonderful way to experience and understand the where and why of Wallowa County is by bicycle. Connections are a comprehensive regional tourism guide with a selection of guided cycling routes, inclusive history & local points of interest and Bike Friendly Businesses across the region. You’ll find an easy-to-use interactive map and local resources that will help you plan the perfect cycling experience where the Old West meets the new century and friendliness is a way of life.
