Walla Walla’s Jefferson Park Pond to be stocked on Monday

WALLA WALLA – The Jefferson Park Pond, 750 Sprague Street, is scheduled to be stocked with rainbow trout on Monday, March 4. The Lyons Ferry Hatchery and Tucannon Fish Hatchery will continue to stock the pond through the spring season.
Fishing at the Jefferson Park Pond is open to juvenile anglers, senior anglers and anglers with a disability who possess a designated harvester companion card.
Adults are allowed to help bait a hook and remove fish from the hook, but cannot fish, cast the line into the water or hold the pole for a child.
Fishing is allowed during daytime hours all year and is governed by Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife rules and regulations.
