Walla Walla woman accused of stealing $40K from business

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla police received a report Tuesday from a local business about $40,000 in unauthorized transactions. The investigation found that Christina Reyes Sereno, 33, of Walla Walla, was in a dating relationship with a family member of the business owners and had gained access to a company debit card.
She admitted to making multiple ATM withdrawals and personal purchases without authorization.
She was arrested and booked into the Walla Walla County Jail for first-degree theft and 17 counts of second-degree theft.
