COLLEGE PLACE – Walla Walla University has broken ground on a $23 million total renovation and expansion of Kellogg Hall, a project designed to centralize student life and campus ministry.
Located near the intersection of South College Avenue and East Whitman Drive, the upgraded 22,000-square-foot facility will serve as a dedicated hub for gathering and student services. Plans for the first floor include offices for campus ministries and student life, alongside The Atlas, a student owned and operated café. The level will also feature game areas, a band practice room, and living room spaces for students to gather.
The building’s second floor will house an enhanced dining hall and the Wolf Den, a new grab-and-go eatery. Known officially as the Student Life and Ministry Center, the facility is scheduled to make its full debut in winter 2027.
Founded in 1892, Walla Walla University is a private Seventh-day Adventist institution offering more than 100 areas of study across professional, technical, and liberal arts programs.
