WALLA WALLA – The Washington State Patrol conducted a surprise inspection this week at Walla Walla Public Schools (WWPS) Transportation Department. The inspection was to evaluate vehicle safety, maintenance practices, and compliance with state regulations.
“WSP was here to do 11 buses,” WWPS Transportation Director John Griffith said. “We aced that test due to the great work that the mechanics and bus drivers do here for us.”
Griffith said the perfect score reflects the district’s ongoing commitment to student safety, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining a reliable fleet of 44 school buses.
