WALLA WALLA — Walla Walla Public Schools will continue to provide most school and classroom supplies for students and families throughout the 2026-27 academic year.
Under the district’s policy, families of elementary-aged children are not expected to buy specific school supplies, cleaning products, hygiene materials, or other classroom items. The district requires families of students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade to supply only backpacks, while all other supplies — such as pens, pencils, markers, crayons, glue, and tissues — are provided.
Similarly, Head Start programs in the district will supply all necessary classroom items for preschool students.
Middle and high school students will be asked to bring only a limited set of individual supplies to campus, with the district covering composition notebooks.
