WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Police Department’s new patrol cars featuring a new design have arrived.
The seven new Ford Explorers were ordered in January 2022; however, supply chain issues delayed their delivery. Equipped with the latest equipment and technology, the department also updated the patrol car’s graphics.
WWPD orders new patrol cars every four years. As the new cars arrive, the older cars move to the backup line with an average of 130,000 miles on them. The cars in the backup line are then retired (surplus).
