Walla Walla plans lane closures planned on Poplar Street this week

WALLA WALLA – Some lanes and parking spaces on Poplar Street will be temporarily closed at times this week while crews sample and test roadway material in preparation for the Poplar Street project between Fifth and 14th avenues.
The work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 1-3.
The work will occur on Poplar Street from Fifth Avenue to 14th Avenue. Closures will happen in the right or left lane on a block-by-block basis, with traffic routed around the work zones to the open lane. Several parking spaces will be unavailable approximately mid-block in each work zone. Intersections will remain open.
