WALLA WALLA – A Walla Walla man has been sentenced in Walla Walla County Superior Court to 20 months in prison for fentanyl and cocaine delivery, part of a global resolution involving multiple felony cases – a December 2024 drug case and a January 2025 shots fired case.

Sylvanno Francisco Oribio, 20, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing controlled substances with intent to deliver in one case, and three counts of intimidating a witness and one count of unlawful firearm possession in a second. Judge George B. Fearing ordered Oribio to serve his sentences concurrently under a specialized drug offender program.

The sentence includes 20 months of total confinement followed by 20 months of community custody for the drug offenses. In the second case, Fearing imposed concurrent 18-month terms for witness intimidation and a 12-month term for the firearm charge.

The court determined Oribio is eligible for the Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative (DOSA), a program that waives standard-range sentences in favor of chemical dependency treatment. If Oribio fails to complete the program, he could be required to serve the remaining balance of his original sentence.

Court records indicate the offenses occurred between late December 2024 and January 2025. Oribio, who was under age 21 at the time of the crimes, will also have his driver’s license revoked.

The judge waived all non-mandatory legal financial obligations, citing Oribio’s indigency. Oribio was granted credit for 129 days already served.
