Walla Walla man sentenced for assaulting child

WALLA WALLA – A Walla Walla man arrested in November 2020 and booked on charges of second-degree child molestation and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes was sentenced Monday in Walla Walla County Superior Court.
Ryan B.N. Dahlin, 34, was sentenced on two counts – second-degree assault of a child and third-degree assault. He pleaded guilty to both those charges.
Walla Walla County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Michelle M. Mulhern said Dahlin was sentenced to four years in prison and given credit for about 200 days served. Restitution is to be determined.
