Walla Walla man enters plea for assault, other charges

WALLA WALLA – Robert Lucero, 24, of Walla Walla, recently arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, along with several other charges, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Monday in Walla Walla County Superior Court. His trial is set to begin Dec. 3.
The Walla Walla Police Department said seven separate incidents of domestic violence or domestic disturbances had been reported involving Lucero and the victim between May and September of this year.
Lucero recently served a 13 month prison sentence for domestic assault involving the same person. He was released from prison late last year.
