WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days has announced the 2026 royalty. Queen Ellie Ford of Walla Walla is a senior at Walla Walla High School and Princess Taylee Smith of Hermiston is a junior at Hermiston High School.
Ford serves as the vice president of her local FFA chapter, where she has an active role in planning events, supporting fellow members, and promoting agricultural education. Ford already earned her certified nursing assistant license and currently works at Wheatland Village.
In her free time, Ford enjoys barrel racing, skiing and spending time outdoors with her horses.
Smith is also an active member in FFA, where she competes in parliamentary procedure and agricultural issues. She has also been involved in 4-H for the past six years, where she showed horses and raised market swine. In 2024, Smith was the Grant County Fair and Rodeo queen and is also a past Milton-Freewater Pioneer Posse princess.
Currently, Smith is focusing her time on her horses, a journey that began in the seventh grade. She has several horses she uses for various purposes such as barrel racing, pole bending, attending parades, and participating in the Farm City Pro Rodeo flag team.
Smith plans on attending Blue Mountain Community College after graduating high school and pursue a degree in agricultural business.
