Walla Walla County receives federal safe streets grant

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla County Public Works Department received a $252,000 Safe Streets for All grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The grant allows the county to develop to develop a comprehensive safety action plan to address the highest risk locations and behaviors on county roads. The goal is to reduce serious or fatal crashes to zero.
