WALLA WALLA โ€“ The Walla Walla County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a separation and release agreement with former fairgrounds manager Greg Lybeck on Monday.

Lybeck was placed on paid administrative leave just prior to this yearโ€™s Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days, for alleged misconduct during the Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo Grand Parade on Aug. 16.

Details describing the nature of the alleged misconduct or the reason for Lybeckโ€™s attendance at the Kennewick event have not been disclosed by the commissioners. Elkhorn Media Group has submitted a public records request to the commissioners for the separation and release agreement.

Commissioner Todd Kimball will continue to act as interim fairgrounds manager.
