Walla Walla area firefighters to perform training burns next week

WALLA WALLA – Crews from the Walla Walla Fire Department, College Place Fire Department, and Walla Walla County Fire District No. 4 will perform joint training burns at two locations next week in Walla Walla. Both burns will begin at 8 a.m. and end around 1 p.m.
Fire officials ask the public to avoid both areas during next week’s training.
The first training burn will be Monday at 218 Donald St., and the second training burn will be Friday, May 24, at 1234 South Fourth Ave. Motorists can expect street closures to occur in the vicinity of the training burns.
