Wa-Hi FFA team shines at state potato judging and tractor competitions

WALLA WALLA – Ten Walla Walla High School students traveled to Moses Lake last week to compete in the FFA state potato judging and tractor competitions.

All three teams performed exceptionally well in their respective events, demonstrating skill and dedication. A standout achievement came from Makenna Wright, who earned third place individually in the highly competitive Potato Judging Competition, which featured 221 participants from across the state. 

As a result of her outstanding performance, Wright will be honored on stage during the Washington State FFA Convention and Expo in May 2025.
