WA boat/watercraft registrations expire June 30, decals must be renewed

OLYMPIA – The Fourth of July weekend is approaching, along with the deadline to renew boat and watercraft decals in Washington state. The decals expire on June 30.

Boat registrations can be renewed either on the Washington State Department of Licensing website or in person at a local vehicle licensing office but note the registration number on the boat’s bow and have that information with you.

DOL no longer sends renewal notices by mail. Boat owners can sign up to receive email renewal notices for their boat on the Department of Licensing website, www.dol.wa.gov.
