EASTERN OREGON – A couple of K-9’s and the Sheriff’s Department are participating in the Northwest K-9 Grant.  The Union County Sherriff’s Department, K-9 Molly and the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office are two in our region plus many more throughout the state that can be voted on. The votes are being accepted until October 26th.  Votes can be cast at 2021 K9 Voting Page – Northwest (aftermath.com).

For over 10 years, the Aftermath K9 Grant has given back to  police departments, sheriff’s offices, and first responder units across the country by awarding  grants that are used to offset the costs associated with creating, running, and maintaining a K9  unit.

We are excited to announce the start of the 2021 Aftermath K9 Grant on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Nominations for the grant will run from October 12-15 and are open to any law enforcement or first responder agency (police, fire/EMS, coroner, etc.) in the United States.

Starting on October 19, 2021, communities across the country will vote to determine who receives grants totaling $25,000. Votes can be cast once per day online at aftermath.com/k9grant or on our social media platforms (Instagram-@aftermathk9grant, Facebook-@aftermathcares).

The grant competition’s schedule is as follows:

● Nomination Period: October 12-15
