Volunteers sought for Malheur County’s Point in Time count

ONTARIO — Community in Action of Ontario reports the Point in Time Count of homeless and unhoused individuals will be Wednesday, January 28th, and the organization could use some help.

Community in Action is asking members of the public to volunteer at the annual Point in Time Count, where there will be warm coffee and food served. It will take place at the Community in Action Center at 915 SW 3rd Ave in Ontario between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on January 28th. Individuals who are currently facing housing instability or are unhoused are invited to join the assessment. Hygiene kits, gloves, sleeping bags, blankets, tarps, and hand warmers will also be available while supplies last.
