Village at Fort Walla Walla construction to begin in College Place

COLLEGE PLACE – A grading permit has been issued to the Farran Group, the Missoula, Montana developer behind the apartment complex planned for the Village at Fort Walla Walla.

City Administrator Mike Rizzitiello said the developer will begin moving dirt this fall on the site located on East Whitman Drive between Myra Road and Maple Avenue.

Rizzitiello said the public should see building begin in September 2024 for the 180-unit apartment complex which will include a community building.

The entire Village at Fort Walla Walla project also includes commercial development headed by another developer. No details have been released regarding the commercial development portion of this project.
