Verbal confrontation leads to shooting at Walla Walla gas station

WALLA WALLA – A 27-year-old man was shot after a verbal confrontation early Sunday morning, just after midnight, in the parking lot of the Shell gas station at 2112 East Isaacs Avenue. The suspect is still at large.

According to the Walla Walla Police Department, the victim arrived to the gas station on foot at 12:35 a.m. At the same time, another man arrived in a vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect about the way he was driving. A verbal confrontation began which led the suspect to present a handgun and shoot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene in his vehicle. The victim was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
