BAKER COUNTY– Oregon State Police (OSP) in Baker County stopped a suspicious vehicle recently after reports of a driving complaint. According to reports from OSP, a check revealed that the vehicle was listed as stolen from Pittsburg, California.
The male subject, 24-year-old Even Douglas Hoppel of Wisconsin was issued a criminal citation for Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and released due to COVID restrictions per the Baker County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Hoppel and his dog were transported to Ontario.
