BAKER CITY – (Information from the Oregon State Police) Some roadways in Eastern Oregon might be thawing at the time of writing, but that doesn’t mean drivers should only be worrying about slush. A vehicle roll-over near Baker City on December 23 serves as a reminder to always adjust driving to match conditions. From the OSP:
The Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle rollover near milepost 351 westbound on Interstate 84. The white van lost control on the icy roadway and left the roadway by way of the right shoulder. The white van then rolled over and came to a point of uncontrolled rest on its wheels. The driver advised that the van lost control on the icy roads. Evidence on scene was consistent with statements.
