Vehicle rollover claims life

HARNEY COUNTY – On Thursday, Jan. 22, at about 9:30 a.m., Oregon State Police from the Burns Outpost and emergency personnel responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 395 South, near milepost 34D in Lake County. A preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle, operated by Paul Wayne Mee, 59, of Klamath Falls, was northbound when for unknown reasons drifted off the northbound shoulder. The driver over-corrected and the vehicle left the roadway, rolling several times. Mee was ejected from the vehicle and was deceased at the scene. The Harney County Sheriff’s Office, North Lake County EMS and ODOT assisted on scene.
