Vandalism closes Washington Park restrooms in Burns

BURNS – The Burns Police Department reports that due to ongoing vandalism, the restrooms at Washington Park will be locked and inaccessible until further notice.
Officials stated, “Unfortunately, repeated acts of vandalism have resulted in damage and maintenance issues that have become unmanageable.”
Police are asking for the community’s help in protecting the public facilities. Those who witness suspicious activity or vandalism are asked to report it to local law enforcement.
City staff said, “The City of Burns understands this is a significant inconvenience for residents and visitors who use the park, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption.”
