Vale Vikings named 2026 3A softball champions

VALE — The Oregon School Activities Association’s 2026 State Softball Tournament was held last weekend at U of O’s Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene. The Vale Vikings dominated the field, and are the 3A 2026 Oregon State Softball champions. In the championship game on June 5th against South Umpqua, the Vikings scored the only run from either team to take the state title. Vale also beat Dayton, Harrisburg, and Willamina/Sheridan at the tournament.
