Vale Fire & Ambulance to help battle local food insecurity

VALE — The Vale community is coming together for the second year in helping battle local food insecurity. The 2^nd Annual Community Food Drive will be held May 17^th. Vale Fire and Ambulance members and auxiliary members will be collecting food and other items in support of the Vale Food Pantry.

Organizers have stated that, “This year we are collecting more than just food! Vale Food Pantry is also accepting clothing, kitchen items, bedding, animal food and etc.!”

Vale residents will begin seeing their bags getting delivered around a week prior to the collection. Six drop-off locations are also available between April 2nd and May 17^th, including the Vale City Hall and Vale Fire & Ambulance Department. Contact the Vale City Hall for further details.
