Vaccination clinics scheduled

LA GRANDE – Health Departments in Union and Baker Counties are continuing their effort at combating the COVID virus with vaccine clinics. This week has been very successful according to staff with the Center for Human Development (CHD) in La Grande. Vaccine clinics will be conducted as drop-in clinics onsite at the CHD, today, November 19 from 10 am to 2 pm. There will be a drive-thru clinic today from 9 am to 3pm at 2600 East Street (Fairgrounds) in Baker City for ages 12 and up.
Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for children 5-11 years old is now available at CHD.
Primary and second doses will also be available on a first-come, first-serve basis on Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm.
In Wallowa County, there will be a clinic on November 23, 2021, from 7 am to 11 am at the Wallowa Memorial Medical Clinic in Enterprise. Pediatric COVID-19 vaccines are available but an appointment or consultation with a medical provider is needed.
