WALLA WALLA COUNTY – Walla Walla County Department of Community Health plans two school vaccination clinics today (Wednesday) and one tomorrow in Walla Walla aimed mainly at getting the vaccine to those aged 12 to 15, but including students of all ages. In addition, two are planned at Walla Walla middle schools on Friday. At all the clinics, those younger than 18 must have parental permission to be vaccinated.
College Place Public Schools is hosting a clinic this morning from 8:30-10 a.m. at Sager Middle School in the multi-purpose room. Call the district office for more information.
A clinic is also planned for today at the gym at Waitsburg High School from 2-4 p.m. The Pfizer vaccine, which is approved for 12 and older, as well as the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine, approved for age 18 and older, will be available.
A vaccination clinic is planned for Lincoln High School in Walla Walla tomorrow (Thursday) from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The Pfizer vaccine will be available, and second shots will be scheduled for June 10. If those 18 and older desire, the Johnson & Johnson single-shot vaccine is available as well.
In Walla Walla there will be vaccination clinics on Friday for those 12 and older at Pioneer Middle School from 9-11 a.m. in the big tent and at Garrison Middle School from 1-3 p.m. in the gym. For those 18 and older, the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine will also be available. The second shot for these clinics will be on June 11 at the same times.
