Update on teenage shooting victim

PRAIRIE CITY – A few additional details have been released regarding last week’s accidental shooting that sent a 16-year-old girl to the hospital with serious injuries. The 16-year-old victim is Porsche Kite and according to her father, Shawn Kite, she has undergone surgery in Portland and is recovering well.

Porsche was shot Friday in Prairie City. Apparently, the bullet split into two pieces while going through her jaw, breaking multiple teeth, and lodged in her neck. No updates have been released on the 16-year-old shooter.
