OSP issues preliminary road closure report
PENDLETON – Oregon State Police has issued a preliminary report on the four-hour road closure of Interstate 84 westbound from La Grande to Pendleton. Lt. Karl Farber said a semi rolled over onto its side blocking both lanes of travel at milepost 222.
An approaching vehicle was unable to stop in time due to dense fog and collided with the commercial motor vehicle. The two occupants of the passenger vehicle were transported to St. Anthony Hospital by the Umatilla Tribal Fire Department for treatment of minor injuries. A full report will be released Wednesday.
UPDATE: 1 p.m. I-84 is OPEN westbound between La Grande and Pendleton
UPDATE – 10:05AM: Hwy. 204 is now reopen to all traffic. I-84 westbound is still closed.
UPDATE – 9:20AM: Hwy. 204 (Tollgate) is now closed to all non-local traffic from Weston to Elgin.
UPDATE: I-84 is closed westbound (Mileposts 265-224) due to crash. All on/off ramps closed.

ODOT is reporting a crash at 8:48 this morning on I-84 westbound at milepost 222.5, 14 miles east of Pendleton. Also, a follower reported Tribal and OSP emergency vehicles heading in that direction at 8:57 a.m.
Use caution in that area.
