Update Evacuations for Telephone Fire in Harney County

HARNEY COUNTY-Due to the Telephone Fire continuing to move east, the Harney County Sheriffโs Office, in collaboration with Falls and Telephone Fires 2024 Incident Command, fire personnel, and Harney County Emergency Management, are issuing expanded evacuation levels.

o Zone 025B: South from the Grant/Harney County line, east of the 15 Road to where Hog Flat meets the Malheur River, and south to Zone 049C
o Zone 049C: The area north of Highway 20, from Pine Creek Road to the east at approximately milepost 165, the bottom of Stinking Water Pass
Updates have been pushed out through Genasys (for those using the app), we have a deputy in the area making notifications, and a phone tree was taking place.
