WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Police Department reports at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, a commercial van struck two women, ages 79 and 62, at the intersection of North Spokane Street and East Main Street.
The pedestrians were lawfully crossing when the driver failed to yield.
Both pedestrians required hospital treatment, according to WWPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Nick Loudermilk. No further details on their condition or injuries were released.
The unlicensed driver received citations for the collision and for driving without a valid license.
