Union man arrested following crash in Granite

GRANITE – A man involved in a crash in Granite has been arrested for driving under the influence.

John Day Ambulance, The Grant County Sheriff’s Office, and Granite Fire Department all responded to Granite on Monday, April 1^st for the report of a motor vehicle accident. Grant County Emergency Communications were first alerted of the crash by the driver’s Apple device.

The crash reportedly took place around 1:38 p.m. at the intersection of Center St. and Elkhorn Road. As a result, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office arrested Beau Stickey, of Union for DUI. It is unknown if injuries were caused from the crash. We’ll provide updates as they are released.
