UNION COUNTY – (Release from the Union County Fairboard) It is with great pleasure that we recognize Carrie Bushman for her dedicated service to the Union County Fairboard. Carrie has been an invaluable member, serving for four impactful years.
Beyond her contributions to the fairboard, Carrie is also the esteemed Library Director of the Cook Memorial Library, where she fosters a love of learning and community. She is also an active member of Soroptimist, a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls.
During her time on the fairboard, Carrie took the lead in organizing the beloved pancake breakfast, a task she will continue to champion with Soroptimist. She also brought the kid favorite Leo competition to the fair and will continue organizing it. Her dedication and organizational skills ensured this event was always a success. Additionally, Carrie served as the Board Treasurer for one year, expertly managing the financial responsibilities with diligence and care.
We extend our sincerest thanks to Carrie for her outstanding contributions and the many accomplishments she has achieved. Her commitment to the fairboard and the community is truly appreciated.
