Union County Chamber of Commerce announces 88th annual banquet award winners

UNION COUNTY – The Union County Chamber of Commerce hosted the 88th annual Citizens Awards Banquet last night at the La Grande Armory Conference Center. This year, award categories included Citizen of the Year, Educator of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Patron of the Arts, Service Organization of the Year, and Small Business of the Year. The winners are as follows:
- 2023 Citizen of the Year: Valerie Stockhoff.
- 2023 Educator of the Year: Greg Poor.
- 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year: Liz Turner; The Compost Chick.
- 2023 Large Business of the Year: Barreto Manufacturing, Inc.
- 2023 Patron of the Arts: Eastern Oregon Film Festival.
- 2023 Service Organization of the Year: Union County Friday Backpack.
- 2023 Small Business of the Year: Nature’s Pantry.
