UNION COUNTY – (Release from Union County) Union County is currently accepting applications for community events or attractions intended to increase economic growth and impact tourism within Union County. Eligible applicants include public sector and non-profit entities only. Funding for this program is made available through county-collected transient room tax funds.
Applications are being accepted for the upcoming fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024. Applications will be accepted beginning June 1, 2023, and will be due no later than July 14, 2023.
This program is administered by the Union County Administrative Office with funding recommendations provided by the Transient Tax Advisory Committee. Final approval of awards will be made by the Board of Commissioners.
Applications are available on the county website at www.union-county.org or may be picked up at the County Administrative Office at 1106 K Avenue, La Grande. Completed applications will be accepted at the county office through Friday, July 14, 2023.
