Unhealthy air caused by wildfires is increasing

According to the DEQ an air quality advisory is in effect for several counties throughout the state including Union and Wallowa counties.  The smoke filtering in is from the Bootleg Fire in Klamath County, the Jack Fire in Douglas County and Grandview Fire in Jefferson County.  

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality released its annual wildfire smoke trends report this week and it shows the number of unhealthy air quality days caused by wildfires is increasing across the state. Additionally, last year those living in Oregon experienced the worst air quality ever recorded in the state.
