Umatilla Tribal Police is investigating an alleged kidnapping

PENDLETON – Christopher Wayne Lyons, 48, faces three felony charges including kidnapping following his arrest on Southeast Byers Avenue early this morning (Friday).

Lyons is charged with second-degree kidnapping, second-degree custodial interference, and criminal conspiracy. His preliminary bail is set at $280,000.

The arrest was made by Umatilla Tribal Police.

“This is an ongoing investigation,” Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation acting Communications Director Jane Hill responded in an email. “The public safety department has no other information to release until the investigation is complete.”
